WISHING YOU & YOUR FAMILY A HAPPY NEW YEAR

Dear Friends,

December started with a 5 hour barrel train event during the Midlothian Christmas celebration! It was a great time of putting smiles on kids and parent's faces and connecting with our community for future ministry! Then, we traveled to Ft. Worth for an evening with Chay’s Christmas Toy Party! Over 200 folks from across North Texas and several out of state gathered to celebrate the holiday and bless Gloryland Ministries with hundreds of toys and donations they had raised through their Christmas auction! I arrived home about 2am and was back to FBC parking lot at 8am collecting toys until 12:30pm. Next, we hosted a drive-in chapel at our camp at 3pm. Keep in mind, this was just the first Sunday! The 2nd Sunday I collected toys until noon and then hosted chapel at Chick-fil-a at 3:00pm! We were honored to have 28 in attendance plus 2 families drove up to see what was going on.

Four of our bus families were adopted by request by Chick-Fil-A, small groups and local families to assist with personal needs, food and put their Christmas over the top!! Very Special thank you to everyone for your extra time and resources to meet these special needs! Many tears of joy flowed as these Christmas blessings were delivered in Jesus' Name! Special thanks to FBC & Liberty Baptist folks who also collected hundreds of Christmas toys.

December 16, Manna House donated 150 bicycles! Our volunteer team responded to help transport and unload the bikes at our camp! December 18our team of 12 workers unloaded, sorted, organized, and reloaded thousands of toys and bicycles onto the Sidewalk Chapel Bus preparing for delivery!

Finally, December 19, OUR AMAZING TEAM gathered at 1:30pm to load bikes into 5 pickups and board the chapel bus full of toys to embark on a 6 hour mission to take Christmas to our families! Tears and hugs were waiting at every home as we allowed them "shop" on the bus for toys, gifts, and bicycles! We also shared some financial assistance to supply special family needs!

The following Monday and Tuesday we helped more local families and then took the remaining toys and bikes to Beautiful Feet Ministries in Ft. Worth on Wednesday.

December 23, a local business donated 40 food baskets filled with 60lbs of turkeys, other meats, canned goods and snacks! So on Sunday morning, December 26th , we headed to Dallas to pick up the baskets from a reefer truck and ran the ministry route one final trip to share over 2,400lbs of food and Christmas cheer! Thank you to this wonderful family for blessing and helping deliver to our ministry families! We were even able to share with neighbors as we traveled around Ellis County!  A big thank you the Blake Family for overtime assistance on this great day of ministry!
